Marine Le Pen

Does anyone think Marine Le Pen, having launched her Presidential election, has a chance of winning , and if she does, what the implications could be for UK, and the following elections in Germany ,later this year ?

Noticeably , she speaks of austerity and continued austerity which does make one wonder if Brussels have pulled the strings, and National Governments have had to follow the rules.

I'm sure she will do well. The ordinary French people are as fed up as we are (the intelligent one's obviously)

Not well up on this but did listern to a discussion on LBC were a couple of French people discussed.

Thought was the French are so ingrained in Republicanism that she wont NOT win.

They are to tied to the German way.

Time will tell will be interesting.

Re: Marine Le Pen

I hope she wins.

It will be another blow to the EU, and it will encourage even more countries to pull out.

It will also be a blow to our remainiacs, who think we are the only ones who can see the evil of the EU.

Re: Marine Le Pen

A sad day if she is elected far too many right wing views around.
While stricter controls are understandable, the deeper views of the party she represents are disturbing.

No, I'd describe UKIP as right wing, but not exceptionally so like the BNP were, for example.

Despite being described as right wing, I feel that UKIP offer more support to the working class man (yes, and woman) than the so-called New Labour (since BLiar).
