Sounds more like it's dislocated. They'll just give it a good old yank and all will be well!

Hi all, yes dislocated me finger that was painful going back but I didn't squeal ! I've broken my coccyx though so I'm sat on a rubber ring I can see this not being much fun a for a while.

Re: Think I may have hurt myself this time

Glad the damage was nothing worse Julie. You have my sympathy re the coccyx, some years ago I damaged mine, chipped a piece out of it. It was agony, I spent weeks perching my backside on a radiator, it was too painful to sit down, and if I did sit down I couldnīt get up again. Iīd also pushed a disc out of place, that really didnīt help. I hope you feel better and pain free soon.

Re: Think I may have hurt myself this time

Julie, when you say you've 'broken' the coccyx, how could your GP tell without an x-ray, or did they x-ray?

I bet that's incredibly painful. If it is cracked, does it just mend on its own in time?

They probably did an X-ray, but it is quite possible they could tell by simply palpating it as it is easily accessible.
