dangerous escaped prisoner

News this morning prisoner was taken to hospital in Liverpool and escaped and is now free to do as he wishes . Police say this man is very dangerous and not to be approached .

Now someone tell me how could this possibly happen ?

Appalling

A very well-planned and well-executed escape.

Re: dangerous escaped prisoner

Seems well planned and they were well armed too. Somethings can never be hundred percent safe and transporting to and from hospitals is one of them.

I always thought that they were handcuffed to a police officer when they went out.

Faced with a gun I think I'd unlock that hand cuff instantly but no not all are done that way, I often see prisoners at the hospital with two guards but they aren't attached in any way. Mind looking at the female guard I wouldn't play up if she was in charge

If he was Cat A he would be and be escorted by a prison officer and have an armed police escort.

Or should have.

Re: dangerous escaped prisoner

HMP Liverpool houses some nasty bastards....think about it....rarely a week goes by without news of a shooting in Liverpool...especially Fazackerley.

The prison is right amongst the worse place in Liverpool.

Why he was travelling by taxi and not in a prison van is beyond stupid, almost criminal putting staff at such risk.

HMP Liverpool has a very good Hospital wing so obviously he needed specialist outside assessment. ...he duped everyone.

These scum should be in HMP Manchester or a prison with equal security.

After only 2 years of a 30 year sentence he should not be in a Cat B/C prison.

Well you thought wrong. The Police do not transport those who are in jail and who may need moving from one point to another. It's done either by the prison service or the company running the prison such as G4S.
