How many portions can you squeeze in, in a day, it used to be Five, now it's Ten, where will it all end.

Re: Portions

That's alright. Was eating parsnips, carrots, celeriac, swede, leeks, onion & potato. Then had pear, banana & nectarine to round off meal.

Re: Portions

I get 6 good portions in one meal on the two days a week I have stir fry vegetables so 9+ portions on those days.

Other days 5 or 6+ three lots of fruit every day plus celery and a raw carrot and vegetables.

I don't eat meat very often so have lots of fruit, vegetables and nuts.

Re: Portions

10 portions a day is no problem for me as long as Cadbury's Fruit and Nut chocolate counts

Re: Portions

LOL at Myrtle! I struggle to eat just a few most days. My meals don't always need or want veg.

The thought of eating most fruit actually makes my stomach heave! Can you imagine that?? I can just about manage a banana but they mostly get thrown away when uneaten and turned black. I might open up a can of pineapple in juice, or mandarins, and have with cream/evaporated milk or custard.

Re: Portions

I eat an apple first thing every morning, then that's the fruit out of the way...
I do like to eat lots of veg though, I have copious amounts of Tesco's Farmhouse Mixed veg most nights. It contains:- Carrots, Peas, Broccoli and Cauliflower.
Does Mash count as one....? Lunch is usually a sandwich with various salad Items and some kind of fish.....Tuna, Salmon or Mackerel. But it's out of a tin.....
