Don't waste bananas that have turned 'black' Jan darlin' - peel them, slice them and make a banana cake with them - fabulous!!!

Apparently, European's were told about 5 years ago to have ten portions of fruit and veg, but it was thought that here in the UK we would struggle to reach that, so we were told to have 5 a day🍏🍎🍋🍓🍒

I usually have fruit and natural yoghurt for breakfast. Either bananas and kiwi or strawberries or nectarine. Plus a salad for lunch and casserole for dinner. So I think that must be at least 10....potatoes apparently don't count. Which isn't fair at all I've even read spuds are an alzheimers risk...
