My Health

Hi

Things have not been good for years

Seriously injured in 1989, told I would never work or walk again in 1991, took the hit , but persevered.

Stared at the bottom again, worked my way back up.

2001, a major heart attack, emergency quadruple bypass.

Such is life, started at the bottom again, worked my way up again.

My injuries have come back to haunt me, the NHS was not good, too little time, I was a write off.

Never been Military or Police , so not entitled to anything.

My PTSD helper is Ex Military.

He has pulled all the strings he can.

I went to see a trainee Doctor, the difference is incredible, tests. results, advice.

I am a different person now, I have a future, I am no longer a write off.

I need to get fit, slowly but surely.

The Military are helping me. all volunteers.

I have nothing but the highest regard for them.

Re: My Health

This is not the forum for me to get too close. PTSD-seen it. Taking the bullet? seen it. The first bullet took out his Colour Sergeant and hit him-the second ripped his guts out.

But that was the army in a place they were `

Re: My Health

Our health..... it's a bugger, isn't it? For massively different reasons an NHS slip up caused me problems that have surfaced recently. We have to make the best of it, somehow.
I wish you continued progress, Swimfeeders..
