So - how do prices/distances compare, say from London to Los Angeles or London to Liverpool?Who has a good postal service? here chaos reigns, delivery fro 1100 to 1500 and a different postie from day to day. When we lived in Farnborough, 0700 daily and you could set a clock by him - a Percie Thrower lookalikeŽ
My experience of consultancy work at a head office in London was the customer was at the bottom of their wish list....

We've had a lot of temps over the years and been put on the end of various other rounds, so not the best service but that changed about a year ago we now have our own postie and he's great, has made it his mission to be helpful to folks. I give him a cuppa if he has time, and he uses the loo if he needs to. He always carries doggy treats so ours love him.

They say the increases were necessary to maintain its legal requirement to deliver to every UK address at least once a day, every day, from Monday to Saturday.
Soon adds up if you're sending many letters or cards though.
