It's about what gives you energy and what saps your energy. If you need quiet time away from people to recharge that's introvert. Extroverts recharge with company.

They say the test is to close your eyes and see what happens in your head. If nothing then you're extrovert, if you're buzzing with thoughts, introvert.

Most of the time I am in lizard-brain mode or brain-stem thinking, whichever.

Not sure breathing and a beating heart count as thinking, but hey, it sets up the opportunity for all sorts of personal goals!
