Sometimes if you work in a medical environment and are genuinely interested in all things medical, then you can recognise symptoms. I've diagnosed family and friends and my diagnosis has been spot on

Thanks Alice... I'm doing much better.. But still not 100% That is a really rough virus.
As for diagnosing.. Yes. I can recognize symptoms, however without the proper testing, no one... not even the Docs can be absolutely sure. So while it may SOUND like a GB attack, it may be something totally different. That's why the advise to go to the doc and get a workup.
I'm just waiting for MY gallbladder to act up. I have a large stone that was found during a workup for something else. It has not given me any problems..... YET.. But at least I, and my doctor know that if I get severe right upper quadrant pain.. there is a very good chance it's from that.
