What a lovely place, and your garden is magnificent! Is your Avatar one of your own roses?

Lovely garden Sue lot of hard work there
I wouldn't mind living in VMs mill or Dandysmom's house either, both full of character.

Re: Do you like where you live?

The rose in my Avatar is called Penny Lane and it's a climber sadly it was a casualty when the conifers came out of the garden and the new fence was put up it had to be dug out it is a lovely rose and I would recommend it to anyone very easy to grow...

Oh what a shame about that lovely rose. When I had my first fence put in I lost a yellow rose (name unknown) that was here when I bought the house, and a grape vine!

Re: Do you like where you live?

I'm content where I live, only 1 mile from the motorway and we're exactly half way between Edinburgh and Glasgow, if I don't want to drive there's trains every 15 mins both ways and it's only a 15 minute ride in the train.

I can see this from my back door.

And this is only 20 minutes away.
