Seems to me that our own celebrity Chefs have been far too busy playing at being celebrities rather than concentrating on cooking in their own restaurant or keeping a check on the quality of food being dished out to customers in their other restaurants, hence they are having to close many of them down!!
For instance, take Jamie Oliver, I used to like him when he was actually cooking for a living, alas, he seems to have been so busy being a celebrity and poking his nose into politics, telling us what to eat and not to eat, looks like he took his eye off the ball because his own restaurant diners apparently didn't like the fare that his kitchens have been cooking up in his name during his absence to play at being a celebrity.
This seems to be the problem with celebrity chefs such as Jamie, what once made him famous, seems to have been viewed as being beneath him to do what he was good at, cooking!
No sympathy at all.
