used to be one of my favorites - you've got me all reminiscing now!! the good old Liebfraumilch days - ah those were the days my friends we thought they'd never end but they did in tears!!

I quite enjoyed it too.

There was also Lambrusco, and Mateus Rose used to be popular, along with Cinzano.

I used to quite like it when there wasn't much else around for the same price but I don't think I would order it now.

I got very drunk on red Lambrusco once .... Never again.

I also liked Mateus Rose. I remember restaurants using the bottles as candle holders.

Yes, I drink it, but I prefer Hock. I only drink German wine anyway.
Peisporter or Neirsteiner are better.

I like white wine but I find Liebfraumilch too sweet.
