Guernsey is pleasant although I was really annoyed when I was last there in 2013 to discover the French Market Halls had been turned into little boutiques. People from the UK come for the authentic Channel Island feeling not something they can get in the UK, especially as it isn't a cheap holiday these days.

I think you will have better weather than me, I fly to Bulgaria for two weeks on Monday.

Another flag-cracker here in West Yorkshire and very hot where I am perched near the top of the Pennines. Too hot to venture outside (for me anyway )

The summers alive and kicking here in the south east...weve had some cracking sunny days! And look set to have plenty more to come too if the weather reports are true (which are often iffy tbh lol )

We had some rain overnight thank goodness, and might get some tomorrow too with a bit of luck.

We had a shower of rain earlier, but it didn't last long, we need more rain, proper rain, not drizzle & not torrential.

We woke to rain through the night and it was still coming down at six when we got up, didn't stop till almost mid day. What a difference it's made, it's cleared the air and the garden doesn't look so parched.
