Hi Annie, I'm reading it because I didn't fancy watching it on TV!
But I know it's had extremely good reviews...
However, the book is very good indeed and I'm really enjoying it, given the material I'd far rather use my imagination!! It's well written, you really get to know her thoughts, see inside her head, can't see how they could film that...

Currently reading 'Wave at hanging rock'. Not bad for a Kindle Freebie.

Mrs LDs reading 'Nomad' which she says is really good. 98p on Kindle.

I've just started "Black Sun Rising" by Celia S. Friedman. It's the start of a Fantasy Fiction series - and the first I've read of hers. I'm enjoying it so far.

Re: What book are you reading now?

I have just finished reading Born to Run by Bruce Springsteen. In truth, I found it a little tedious. Mostly because of his style of writing - or of his ghost!

Now I am re-reading The First 50 which is by Muriel Gray. About her experiences climbing the Scottish Munros - mountains over 3000ft. It is pretty old now and I originally read it in the early 90s. But since it it quite funny, it is easy to read once more.

Just started Fleshmarket Close, another Inspector Rebus. Just love Ian Rankin's character.

What will I do when I've read them all?!!

My third Samantha Hayes. Before You Die.

Not as easy going as the other two I've just read, but featuring the same female DI and her family.
