Cucumbers

I am so proud of my first ever cucumbers but now my friend has told me I should have picked them when they were gerkin size !

I have mini cucumbers similar to those, I pick when they are 4-6" Do you know what variety they are Muddy?

I thought I had just one cucumber which is about the size of a gherkin still growing, but this morning I found a second absolutely massive one hiding behind the pot. Not sure whether to pick it now or leave it a few more days.

They look great Muddy so please let us know what they are like. I am the only person I know that likes cucumbers, and they look just the right size for me.

Cucmbers we have no shortage of. I noticed today that the one plant we have in the greenhouse is dying off. We still have them growing in the open. I made these jars of sweet and sour cucumbers today.

Kev - I'm deeply envious. Are there no slugs and snails in Germany? Or do you have a magic trick to make them stay away from your veg?
