Water or wine?

In a number of carefully controlled trials, scientists have demonstrated that if we drink 1 liter of water each day, at the end of the year we would have absorbed more than 1 kilo of Escherichia coli (E. coli) bacteria found in faeces. In other words, we are consuming 1 kilo of Poop.
However, we do not run that risk when drinking wine (or rum, whiskey, beer or other liquor) because alcohol has to go through a purification process of boiling, filtering and/or fermenting.
Remember:
Water = Poop
Wine = Health
Therefore, it's better to drink wine and talk stupid, than to drink water and be full of shit.

Re: Water or wine?

Did they do any tests about car accidents if we swap water for wine ?

Also a bit of dirt can keep us healthy, we need to make the antibodies to fight off infections and only way to do that is to come into contact with dirt.

Re: Water or wine?

Is this because the Australian Government and water authorities are not so thorough in their filtering and purification processes for their water supplies???

Hi

The standards here in the UK are zero for E Coli in mains water.

Re: Water or wine?

Yes Jules, the wine drinkers drive much straighter into trees than the water drinkers.

And Joe ol'mate, you are spot on once again. That's why I only drink rainwater collected across my roof having washed down all the bird shit into the tank.

Hmmm what, Purwell?

Swimfee, I didn't need to know that.

Yes, I think the writers of the bible got that one back to front.
