Removed joint of beef from freezer last evening - Roast beef, roast tatties, roast carrots, parsnips and onion with accompanying gravy.

Very little, the Polish Babuchas are arriving at Sabrina's later today and I am having a meal there, and boy, can they cook.

A Morrisons chunky steak pie. Will par boil a cut up potato, then put the pieces in a roasting tin, along with some leeks, onion, and other small veg, and roast the lot.

I make my own dumplings from fresh ingredients - flour & suet and for stock I use Bisto (powder) and an Oxo cube.

Ah ok,

I've always used 2 x Oxo and a teaspoon of marmite for the stock. With a dash of Lea & Perrins.
