There's a MINIMUM temperature (Offices, Shops & Railway Premises Act 1963), but there is no MAXIMUM temperature above which it is unsafe to work, but you could, via your Trade Union, negotiate a MAXIMUM which would entitle you to go home (or in your case go to the pool).
