Tell me about your family and friends AFTER the referendum

Hi There!

I am conducting a piece of research right about the everyday vulnerabilities that have been framed by Brexit.

[belonging, worthiness, fear etc]

I am really interested in knowing about the experiences different people had with their family and friends AFTER the referendum.

Did anything change?

Comment down below what you felt in the few days/ weeks/ months after the vote.

Anything would be incredibly helpful! Thanks, Abi.

All relieved at the prospect of leaving the huge carbuncle that is the EU which is populated by self-serving bureaucrats.

Can I assume that any comments made will be used in a totally unbiased way or is it another attempt to portray the `Leave` vote as a mistake?

No changes at all from my family and friends. None of us are interested.

No change from me and my family, we just wish they'd hurry and get on with it. Incidentally, i have only one friend who voted remain, the rest voted out, and obviously it was her right to vote whatever way she saw fit.

Re: Tell me about your family and friends AFTER the referendum

My three adult daughters ( 37, 35 and 29) all voted Remain and were quite worried about their and their children's ( my grandkids') future post Brexit.

I saw them the weekend after the referendum and it was a hot topic of conversation ( naturally).

In the 18months since their fears have reduced somewhat and we rarely talk about that tbh.

I'll be seeing them this weekend so maybe I'll have a wee chat with them about it.

They stay in Bristol btw, so a relatively wealthy, vibrant part of the UK.

Tbh the high cost of housing and child care is a bigger concern for them.

My youngest daughters ( 21 and 19 ) are away with the fairies most of the time so not really bothered about Brexit and are more politicised over matters of equality, gay/lgbt rights and social cohesion.
