F1, boring?

Being it was the British Grand Prix I gave it a look this lunchtime.
Sadly it was just as boring as the last one I saw.
It is a strange sport indeed where the experts pray for rain to give a better chance of seeing someone have an accident to keep the interest going.

The highlights today? a couple of overtaking moves, no really! oh yes and Jensons wheel nearly fell off.

The 'thrilling' finish saw the third placed driver ordered to stay behind the bloke in front because points make prizes and 'racing' is not allowed as a team sport.

Can't say F1 does anything for me either. I'd rather have the telly off and do something worthwhile than watch it.

Yes boring for me, I can't believe my son spent good money on getting in, he could have taken his mum to lunch instead

Re: F1, boring?

I'm with Barry on this, my Doctor banned me from watching it years ago on account of the excitement, my heart wouldn't be able to take it. He suggested I get a goldfish and watch him in his bowl, I would get the same excitement watching it go round and round and my heart would not be at any risk whatsoever.

I watched it with great interest.......................................... ..................well the start and the finish.

I was asleep for the rest of it. I find it ideal as an aid to my siesta.

Hammer, I'll just refer you to my previous post on this non-event.(Moto GP) I was doing something a bit more exciting today. Went into the back garden to watch the grass grow.

Re: F1, boring?

I find F1 is on a par with Speedway, vroom and they are gone.
But i do like tennis, all that grunting, and bashing the racket down on the net or on the floor breaks up the boredom.
