Re: Ricky Hatton

Saw Ricky on telly recently and he is looking very fit.
I must admit though, that I don't like boxing.

Re: Ricky Hatton

At least Ricky Hatton was a brilliant fighter in his time. Apparently Audley Harrison is contemplating another comeback - why on earth anyone would want to pay to watch Fraudley is beyond me. He must be the only person in the universe who still believes his own hype!

Oh right - Derek Hatton - former deputy leader of Liverpool Council. No he's not into boxing. That great socialist man of the people is now running a digital marketing company while being a property developer in Cyprus - a true man of principle!

Re: Ricky Hatton

To give him credit, Hatton went 8 rounds (?) but it was a predictable defeat. Though reading his comments, if he hadn't have been knocked down by the blow to the ribs, he'd have won...he reckons he was ahead on points.
One commentator said he was flagging badly by round 7.
Let's hope he can keep his demons away (drink and drugs) and he starts his retirement in the right way - by enjoying it with his family.

Re: Ricky Hatton

It was always going to be a train crash, I hope he can now pick up the pieces of his life and move on to something better...
