Phone photos and links

Is there a way to post photos on here from websites or my phone albums using an android phone, also do I just copy links by typing the whole thing out or is there a quick way?

I would be grateful if someone could explain in very simple, step by step terms, if either are possible

I just attach on "advanced" messaging for any photo or downloads

And instead of typing you can copy and then paste, links

Tess,

It's quick, simple and easy to manually refer to a picture from any website.

First, get the URL for the picture in question.

To do that right click on the picture, select properties and then highlight and copy the URL which starts http: etc.

Then in your post on this forum paste that URL

Then just put [IMG] in front of that URL
and [/IMG] at the end of the URL

I will do an example using round brackets :

(IMG) http://www.over50sforum.com/images/ovinterface/tree.png (/IMG)

This is the forum logo of the tree at the top right of the screen. Remember though that you must use SQUARE brackets not round ones.

Re: Phone photos and links

You can't right click on a mobile phone.
The way to copy and paste on an android phone is to tap and hold on the text you want to copy.
When two markers appear, drag the first one to the begining of the text, and the second one to the end, then when the text is highlighted tap on it to copy.

The go to the reply box where you ar pasting to, and tap and hold until you get some options, then tap on paste.

That is how it works on my android phone.

My understanding is as follows:

You tap and hold on the picture
It then offers you the choice to View or Save

You select View and the picture opens in a new tab

You can then copy the pic URL from that tab
