Seagulls

Love 'em or hate 'em?
I personally love them. But then I have never been attacked by one or ever had my burger stolen by one. They certainly can be a menace while out walking on the beach or close to restaurants though.

Re: Seagulls

They are annoying when you are at the seaside and want to sit and eat fish and chips close to the beach.

I am not sharing with anyone.

Re: Seagulls

When we were on holiday just sat chatting one flew over head squawking, my husband suddenly exclaimed omg look at Betty, we had a chihuahua covered in gull poo, she wasn't impressed, and that stuff stinks of fish ! Had to hold her under the tap for ages to get it off, again one unhappy chihuahua she hates water !

Re: Seagulls

I hate them.
Years ago I owned a boat, every time I went down for a weekend or short break I'd spend so much time cleaning it.

Then they'd be tap dancing on it in the early hours...grrrr

That problem was cured quite easily.
I'd throw bread on the neighbour's boat each night.

Re: Seagulls

A bird crapped on my head last week. I might still see her again though.

Re: Seagulls

Two of them seem to have adopted me. First thing in the morning and early in the evening there they both are, Steven & George, Seagal & Segal. Apparently I've even been heard talking to them. I told George I much preferred A Touch Of Class with Glenda Jackson to anything his brother Steven had ever done.
