Yum I love artichokes whichever way they are facing, does this mean there are going to be lots of them around to eat

I am looking forward to the new year, I am tired of this one it is looking tatty and threadbare.

Hoping the new year brings happiness and good health to everyone here

Re: New Year?

I have never been a late night party person, so I am pleased to say I will be home alone and probably in bed before 11 pm..... I just hope the firework shops have all closed down in this area.
I would like to wish you all a happy new year though, and remind those who will be partying all night to drink a pint of water before you go to bed and stock up on the paracetamol.

Re: New Year?

We are always in bed by about 9pm and never stay up to welcome the New Year in, we don't see the point.

Re: New Year?

I wish you all a happy new year and hope it brings you all good luck and good health.

We won't be going out, we will be indoors hanging on the dog who is literally terrified of the fireworks, and they certainly like their fireworks here. We have to suffer new year twice, first at midnight, then again at 1 a.m. for the British, not forgetting the idiots who think fireworks should be let off all through the night. I'll be glad when it's been and gone.

Re: New Year?

We only really stay up to try and keep the dogs calm with the fireworks but I wish everyone who celebrates it a happy new year.
