Had phone call from a dear friend yesterday - have agreed to meet up for a meal in the pub not far from me - here:

I don't wish to be personal Julie, but in another thread you said that you were overweight. I find that to be most unusual for a vegetarian. The veggies I know are all slender and slim, my BIL is wafer thin, but very healthy !

Foot in mouth again Malcolm!!! - Read more carefully in future. Julie did say it was a VEGETARIAN burger!!! Furthermore, I read elsewhere on another thread that Julie had lost weight, but then felt 'unhappy' and has put some of her lost weight back on and is happioer with that. Now I think you need to apologise to Julie!!!

I'm making lamb rogan josh for dinner. None of your cook-in sauces for me.
I've diced the lamb and left it to marinate. I'll finish cooking it late this afternoon. Serving it with rice, popodums and riata.

There are good vegetarian diets and bad ones chocolate and crisps are vegetarian foods you know, I am not sure why you keep having a go at me though, the lunch thread is usually not a place people pick at others it's usually just a friendly exchange of pleasantries.

I have an inquisitive nature Julie, please don't take it personally, I'm not 'having a go' at you, I think you are a caring and hard-working person and I enjoy reading your posts.
