Blue Pills

A Swedish band. Formed in 2011 (but they probably think it's 1971 - which is fine by me)

High Class Woman

Glad you approve. Nearly bought the album last year but not sure if they are too derivative. Still at least they are a 'real' band in as much as it's not choreographed. There's quite is a scene for over in Northern Europe. Check out Vibravoid, got an album with a 40 odd minute version of Mother Sky. Brilliant to listen to when doing things like decorating, which seems to be my role these days. Not complaining, I'm more than happy if I have music, it's the constant; never let me down.

Another interesting band, their version of Incense and Peppermints is very good. Mother Sky is a classic Krautrock track, bit like E music by Neu.

Re: Psychedelic, Acid, Garage, Bands.

Aah! Lots of memories coming back!

I like Captain Beefheart, I would think that a soundalike band could become quite popular now
I also like soft Machine

A local pub has bands on at weekends, everything from blues to heavy metal to more modern stuff. I mentioned to one band which was doing Cream, The Doors etc that they might try a Captain Beefheart number. The singer said he'd consider it 'but first I'll have to get a top hat'.

I saw Hatfield and the North supported by Lol Coxhill and Steven Miller in Manchester; Caravan supported by Kevin Coyne at the Free Trade Hall; my school booked Principal Edwards Magic Theatre for a school party.

Unfortunately I was just a bit too young to go to those two (in)famous Manchester clubs, The Twisted Wheel and The Heaven and Hell

Finally, while we're name dropping, my favourite guitarist is Michael Chapman, I've seen him several times.
