Re: Buffet or table service?

Buffet for me too! I just don't like the slow toasters. You have to put your bread in and hope it's done by the time you get your food.

I have to confess, though, that a waiter brought breakfast is tastier, and freshly cooked. But I do like choosing my own quantity.

I'm not a fan of being waited on.

Buffet for me too. I'm not keen on being 'served' either.

I like both, although I suppose if I am totally honest I would say I prefer Silver service.

Re: Buffet or table service?

For breakfast - a buffet is fine.

For anything else I prefer a proper silver service.

I once, and only once, went to a restaurant where they had 'american style' service and delivered the complete main course already on a plate. Horrid. Never went there again.

I prefer buffet - I don't like waiters flitting around me all the time when I'm eating

Re: Buffet or table service?

The hotel I stayed at in Bournemouth provided the beans in a tiny pot. A good idea, I thought, but can get messy!
