Indeed, but those who voted for it need a platform from whence to blame someone other than themselves for it.

German the international language of the EU you mean. There's a reason for that... all part of the plan with your German rulers.

Remember when you voted against the treaties you went crawling bsck to your EU masters, unlike the UK

Your businesses are now fleeing EU tyranny, your vaccination plans are in shreds and the world is laughing at you as you forget all about your solidarity with Navalny and go begging to Russia to bail you out with vaccines after von der leyen screwed up procurement for 27 countries in one go.

Tragic really, it just shows how useless the EU is without the UK bailing you out all the time.

Hi

The formal new arrangements post Brexit have not yet been ratified by the Eu, we did it in a day, but now want to change things.

There will be plenty to talk about for years to come.

Their plan is to not ratify until they absolutely have to. As long as we signed and they haven't they can create a political sh1t storm because all they will do is accuse us of breaking international law (if we deviate) and creating political division in the leave/remain camps of the government and give the remainers something to get triggered over.

They've accused us of this this several times already and history shows its taken years for them to ratify a trade agreement with other 3rd countries. To expect them to do it with us in 6 months is nonesense. As it stands, with the government signing this crap deal the EU have us where they want us, especially regarding Ireland and Fisheries, while we still keep paying them billions each year.

We ratified the agreement without proper scrutiny by Parliament and in particular the ERG and leave members. It was all rammed through in a day and we had about 2 weeks to digest the content of 1200 pages of international treaty.

What a shambles, while we have the chance we should tear it up and walk away. No deal is better than this deal.

You could say the same about Thatcher, WW2, the Norman invasion .................. all of which have an ongoing affect on our country but not enough to warrant a subforum to discuss them in.

(Yes the Norman invasion, which basically resulted in the aristocracy we have today and is the root of our HoL which many accept is in dire need of reform for just one example.)

Not methinks anywhere near as much as your EU vaccination failures will haunt you.

If it was not for the hard border I would like to hope for no deal until the end, for the sake of all of us.
