Google Chrome slow loading

For several days I have had problems connecting to Google Chrome.

Before I even try to connect to the internet a quick flash of a message pops up at the bottom of my screen - too quick to read it properly - but something to do with Windows and no access. I try to connect to Chrome but it just won't load.

I have to use Internet Explorer for a little while before I am able to connect to Chrome. Once I'm on, there are no more problems.

Anyone else experiencing the same please?

I use a Mac and Firefox but I also have Chrome on here ..... just switched to Chrome and it operating perfectly for me.

I'm on Chrome now and its working fine but it took a while to load up initially.

Thanks Mark, I've given that a try. Will see tomorrow when I log on to see if it improves it.

I had the same trouble as Cheshire Cat so I followed the link MKJ
put up.....problem solved thanks MKJ

That's encouraging Glad also I wasn't the only one experiencing the same thing. I sometimes wonder if its ME !!

It's not you CC, I don't get any of that when I click on settings so I'm stuffed!

no you'r not Twizard as MKJ's link says go to advanced settings and then
go to privacy and there's the list below the word privacy and untick
"predict network actions"

It was already unticked so must be my laptop or our broadband speed, dagnabbit!
