Does anyone find this worrying at all ?or are we more relaxed about these alerts ..

I think that this has more to do with damage limitation as regards the Conservative Party's prospects for 2015 than any real, genuine security concerns Eliza but then, I don't trust this "Coalition", (Conservative!), government one iota! stevmk2

On a more serious note I think we have cause to be concerned as retribution may be sought for the damage our politicians have done to others

Id be more worried if i was Flying,or in London.. I think we have more intelligence now than in the past , well i hope so .

I don't think it is just the British Government, Looking at the DFAT warnings for Thailand the Songkhla region has a 'Do Not Travel' warning yet I was there last week and never felt in the slightest bit threatened. Thailand as a whole has an "Exercise a high degree of caution" warning, Absurd, no wonder the places were empty. (good for me 50% discount on hotel accommodation). If you read and believe their web site you would never go anywhere.


I think it is just an arse covering exercise (and an excuse for introducing draconian anti terrorist laws)
