Hospital boy taken

What on earth do you think possessed the parents of that little boy to take him away from hospital just 7 days after a brain operation?
I would have thought the extensive travelling alone would be too much for him, let alone his feeding problems.
I do hope it's not too late to find him.

Re: Hospital boy taken

Very odd. Considering he has been having treatment for some time, especially seven days after surgery. He was taken from the hospital we use. A vast place but they know they have gone abroad, and had obviously made plans for the trip.

The latest news is that the young boy and his parents have been found in Spain .... no further details have been announced yet.

I wonder if their religion was anything to do with it?
They are Jehova's Witnesses.

Well I wondered that too Carol, but if that was the reason, I'm surprised they let him have the operation at all. Why take him afterwards? Weird isn't it.
I expect will be told in due course.

Re: Hospital boy taken

It could be the parents no longer feel they can trust the Doctors and Hospital .That their child no longer belonged to them ,,that their child was being put through more than was necessary, with little hope of surviving.

Yes, it might be any of those reasons Eliza. I hope the little lad is alright though.

Re: Hospital boy taken

Local news reported that this was not related to the fact they are JW. It would seem that they have their sons best interests at heart, although misguided. I have had a 5 year old very ill, you become desperate.
