Well funnily enough AC I witnessed a lady doing that a few weeks ago. She was coming out of the local grocery store in a white fluffy spotted dressing gown and slippers (no curlers) with a little girl of about 3 in tow. I had to look twice and when I went into the grocers and asked "did I just see what I think I saw", they told me she does it regularly
