Pensioner/ Senior Citizen/OAP

I know you are not really a Pensioner till you receive a Pension , but what would you be liked to be referred as.
I feel Pensioner and OAP makes one sound ancient . i would much rather be a Senior Citizen .
Whats your view on this .?

How about a 'Crumbly'. I don't have a bus pass or a B&Q card, I have "Crumbly cards"

I'm with Meg on this one, I don't have strong feelings about what they call me.

Re: Pensioner/ Senior Citizen/OAP

I do get a tiny pension after 12 years as a civil servant so does that make me a pensioner? 3 years before my bus pass and 4 years before my state pension. So I am an OGIL-Older Git in Limbo

Re: Pensioner/ Senior Citizen/OAP

I'm not a Pensioner yet, seeing that they have changed the retirement dates, but I am 60, so if I buy a ticket to go to a Museum or something then I always ask for Senior Citizen rates.
