John Scott pioneer
I owe the fact I still have good eye sight to this man as do so very many others he will always have my lifelong gratitude.
"John Scott, died aged 76 in January 2013, he was a pioneering ophthalmic surgeon responsible for developing new techniques in the surgical repair of retinal detachment – a condition which can lead to blindness."
In 1998 he published Surgery for Retinal and Vitreous Disease. Still one on the most authoritative works on this subject.
