I always find we have problem items so a member of staff has to help, when you point out if they opened more tills they could employ them on those and customers would be happier you get a blank stare. Really having it delivered to home is the easiest way to shop and IME the delivery chaps are fantastic and cannot do enough to help you. Such a contrast to the stores.Re: Self Service Tills
The worst thing about these tills is that customers often forget to take their change. I work in Tesco on customer service desk and the amount of money left at the tills is staggering and that's just the money that is handed over. Probably a lot more is taken by the next customer! All of this money is classed as lost property and handed to the police now what do you suppose the police do with it? So always always always make sure you take your change!
