Haircut

Cho after her haircut, not looking too happy because there are fireworks going off and she gets very scared.

She is very cute! Know what you mean about fireworks - apparently it is Diwali this week end so our Hindu citizens are setting off fireworks galore. My cats are hiding in the wardrobe again.

Re: Haircut

What a beauty ! Our late Duncan used to act like a young thing after a haircut like the weight had been taken off of him when he had a hair cut.

Re: Haircut

Both my dogs required few haircuts (Hungarian Puli and Lhasa Apso) however when we stopped showing the Puli we decided to have her shorn, she gained a new lease of life ran about like a demented black lamb, allso stopped her clearing the paths with her cords. Hours of endless fun picking leaves and twigs from her coat.

The Puli was not keen on fireworks, but the Apso could not care less, tough little dogs.

Re: Haircut

Thank you all. Cho is still a little sad much of the time, but she has a playmate across the road and she is certainly much happier than she was. The problem now is that she refuses to be left alone and barks and cries none stop. We take her with us as much as is possible but we have to keep trying to get her used to being left for a time. My friend across the road comes out ever few minutes to listen but after 20/30 minutes she comes to take her to her house if Cho is still creating. Cho has never been alone, she´s always had Muffin, but we are just going to have to keep working on it.

Hi Loretta have you tried a DAP diffuser, it helps with some dogs . Try also leaving an article of clothing you have worn (to pick up your scent) for Clo to lay on.
As Patsy says leaving the radio on can help too.
