I dislike music!

I have no idea why I don't like it, but I would never put it on for pleasure. I will tolerate classical, which my husband likes, if I really have to. Anything else makes me very stressed!

It is strange that I dislike music so much, my father had an excellent tenor voice and belonged to a number of choirs. In 1961 he toured the US with one of the choirs to which he belonged. My sisters have good voices, as do our three girls, who also play a selection of musical instruments. My singing voice is AWFUL, as was my mother's, I would never inflict it on anyone!

Does anyone else dislike music?

My granddad hated music but he had good reason, his hearing was bad and the high notes actually seemed to cause him pain and he couldn't hear the bass notes so the entire tune sounded very odd I would guess.

Cannot understand anyone who does not like music - of 'any' kind.
Doesn't matter whether you can sing or not, nothing to do with it.
Maybe that's why you're a grumpy birdie .......

I would be distressed if I didn't have books or nowadays my Kindle, but I as I said I dislike music, and could well live without coffee, of which I only have two mugs a day of instant.

Music goes with me everywhere, wouldn't be without it, it is so stress relieving, having said that perhaps that is why I am such a laid back guy.
If I go anywhere my iPod will go in my pocket before my phone, I even take it to bed incase I can't sleep, I am loaded with Jazz country, big band and great stars like Bette Midler.
I shall have music wherever I go.
