Closed Curtains?

something I will never understand is why several of the houses around here never open their blinds or curtains! Their homes never see daylight, why do folk do this?

I often wonder this also, some folks must not value natural light, don't think we have ever closed our bedroom curtains, it is good to wake up and see the night sky.

My elderly neighbour has poor mobility and balance so leaves her blinds closed until her carers or me open them.

a new couple moved in across the road with children, they too keep their blinds closed both up and downstairs, I just don't get it
