I am terrified of heights. I remember when we went to Wales and my husband had to drive round the Horseshoe pass. I was so scared. The awful feeling was I knew we had to do it after our hols to get back home so it sort of spoilt my holiday worrying about it Ha Ha

In the early 70s I took a bus from the Indian border to Katmandu over a similar road. Over the dodgy bits, and there were a lot of them, I read Lord of the Rings with a renewed intensity.
