More news on state sanctioned murder:

Convicted drug smugglers Andrew Chan and Myuran Sukumaran have been told they will be executed on Tuesday night as family members and the Australian government continue to call for clemency.



It is ironic that Indonesia does everything it can to save its own citizens from execution.

So be it , they knew the risks , few less drug traffickers won't go amiss

Tough .. Im with Markey on this one..

They had no worries about trafficking the poison that would claim the lives of other people both addicts and possibly people who fell victim to addicts desperate to raise money for a fix..
The knew the penelty if caught and chose to take the risk..

Don't know the inns and outs, but just on the strength of the clip, the debate on Capital Punishment will ramble on, but this seems like a double whammy, Ten years in prison, then the death sentence, surely it should be either or.

They deserve all that is thrown at them. I have no sympathy for drug traffickers.

While I am anti the death penalty I do think if you go to a country where they have it and commit a heinous crime then you are getting what you deserve. It's really easy not to be executed, just don't do the crime.

Although I am, and will always be. opposed to the death penalty I guess it is a case of `when in Rome` I have no sympathy for drug barons-it`s the mules I feel for if they have been duped or put under threat.

they knew the punishment if caught, drug runners are the lowest of the low two less is a good thing.
