Out door gyms

They have just built one of these next to the kiddies play area in our local park http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-17818223 sadly only use I have seen it put to is some mums sit on the bicycle and smoke while they wait for their kids to have their 10 minutes on the swings But it looks like a good idea if anyone can get enough energy to use it properly.

I'm going to be forking out for a iFit driven treadmill soon - before the Winter. You can download routes and then the treadmill will simulate the run by altering the incline and so on whilst you follow the run on a screen. Might cost me around 2 grand but looks worth it.

Re: Out door gyms

I understand they are very good Mark, a friend at work got one in the spring and is looking great, he says it's a lot less boring than the normal running machines so it's keeping him exercising a lot longer. I think he lost 2 stone so far !

We have an outdoor gym in the park near me. Always full of kids.
