the mystery green plum ...

just moved .got some fruit trees in the ground' i have growing a victoria plum , but have a tree with the smallest of green color plums on it well i think they are ?
not sure what a greengage is could it be ... ideas welcomed ..

We have inherited a greengage tree in the garden of our new bungalow and it's absolutely laden with fruit just ripening, I can hardly keep up with halving the surplus and getting them into the freezer...

yes aysia the ones in the pic look bigger than mine '' didnt know u could freeze them ...but if they have a stone there not mine ...

I just copied this from a website Toffee...
Compared to the attractive colouring of most plums, the appearance of Old Green Gage fruit is fairly plain - the plums are quite small and a dull green colour, turning slightly yellow when ripe. However this is one that you grow for flavour - for eating fresh it is exceptional.
It didnt say wether they had a pip inside them though
