Re: EU referendum

Regardless of your 'great insight' into these matters Joe, I will vote to stay in because I believe it is the lesser of two evils. PS who was the other well-known Joe ? I remember, Joseph Stalin !

Re: EU referendum

I'm in the Out camp too ... but, to be honest .. if both sides are going to launch campaigns I shall listen to both sides as an exit is a big step.

Me too Morticia!

I'm sitting on the fence and getting splinters in my bottom!

It would be fun to hold an In/Out poll on here, and then another as the referendum is nigh, to see if anything has changed.

Re: EU referendum

That's a good idea, especially if we could change our votes if we changed our minds.

Re: EU referendum

I voted 'NO' in the previous referendum in 1976 and I have seen nothing since to change my mind, in fact on the contrary, because of Attilla the hen's signature on the Single European Act Treaty, none of the proposed legislation enacted by Europe has to be debated and voted on by our 'domestic' parliament but is deemed to be automatically incorporated into UK legislation.

Re: EU referendum

I voted against joining a "Common Market" Then voted against staying in the EU in the last referendum, and shall be voting against staying in again in 2017.

But I think we will have referendum after referendum until Cameron gets the result he wants.

Re: EU referendum

By god it's going to be a long boring campaign, I think they must be hoping that we'll all be too fed up with hearing about it to bother voting when it actually happens, in fact I'm just about sick of hearing about it already....
