Anyone else dislike holidays?
Ok I know I am weird, but does anyone else on this forum dislike going on holiday?When my kids oblige me to take a break from my husband, I go back to my home island as it is familiar. I detest being out of routine, and can't wait to get home again. I much prefer it if I can stay at home and one of our girls has my husband to give me a break.
Obviously when our children were young we went abroad on educational holidays for them as we believed that to be very important. My husband was an academic and their academic progress was extremely important to us.

I never go on holiday outside my own country anymore, but the wife and me take breaks to the country whenever we get the opportunity, we can't wait for the next trip, having free travel on trains, buses, and ferries if you wish to go to some of the Aran Islands, is fantastic and one of the only good things I have to say about the government, they do look after the old as best they can here.
