Why Do.

Why do young women fold there arms across there chests when walking, this seems to be a female only trait only time us chaps did this was British Bulldog. Also must be unbalancing.

One of my recent Nomservations. I like to think im forming a better understanding between the sexes.

Well I have done that and still do if I manage to move quick enough to need to, bras are not always able to cope

I have always put it down to insecurity.

I would find that uncomfortable and unsustainable. My arms are usually in my fleece pockets, or pushing/pulling one of my shopping trolleys.

I think you are right in a way LD it is I understand called 'self hugging' and can be a subconscious defensive and comforting action.

You often see the action when people are having an argument.

It's more to do with keeping boobs in place Meg nothing to do with self comforting which would be done when standing still. Running with big boobs is no fun.

It's a bit like when people with big teeth, hide their mouth when speaking. Personally I would much rather see their big teeth than their hand as it just draws attention to the person's insecurity.

People usually cross their arms unconsciously to 'protect' their spleen energy centre. HUmans often do this when getting involved in an argument too.

Secondly, What have I told you about loitering about in shopping centres all day, making nomservations. tut tut.

As for forming a better understanding between the sexes - well . . . keep trying.

I can understand that but it's not always ladies with big boobs that do it. In fact, I would say it's mostly thin women that do it.

Are you saying you run with your arms crossed? Could be a bit dangerous.
