Chestnut Mushrooms

Have you tried them and did you like them.
For me yes on both counts.

Just called brown mushrooms here in Aus.
Usually a bit dearer than the others.

To me, very little difference in taste - maybe very slightly "nutty"
but I wonder if one simply convinces oneself of that because they are slightly more expensive ?

Sorry Apricot I dont like mushrooms ....I like to cook them but cant eat them myself.

I like any mushrooms The chestnut mushrooms have more flavour than the white buttons, love them .

I can't taste any nuances in any mushrooms I eat but I do like the consistency and bite in them.

I like the chestnut ones best but any mushroom is ok by me. The big flat ones are lovely, too.

My husband loves chesnut mushrooms I prefer white especially the large portobello ones.
