I understand it tastes like liver, not for me thank you I don't like liver even with caramelised onions

Seen this before Cinders.
The thought is quite revolting to me to be honest, but I believe women used to do in the past. It was fried or something I think!
Animals do it, my dogs used to eat the placenta after each puppy was born.

The ones I have seen all looked a bit like pizzas with lots of interesting toppings.

during my years in HK some of the Chinese ladies swore by it and brought it to work as a special treat. No - I declined!
Now wild cat - well that was different!

well if you call eating prawns from a bucket - YES - heh Pummie they weren't still live were they??

Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall, made a "placenta pate". Others have fried, roasted or made smoothie. I am willing to try most foods but could not knowingly eat it.
