Brilliant they stayed friends & pen pals for so many years. Very sad one has gone though.
I have pen pals too, from different countries as well as here, some I have lost now, heard from their relatives when they died & I have been writing to a few for many years & some I have even met.

Was quite a big thing years ago but it never appealed to me I knew lads in the cubs who corresponded with people all over the World.
