Did You Have To Get Married?

These days, no one has to get married but in our day if you got a girl pregnant, or you got pregnant, you were expected to do the right thing and get married pretty damn quick!
Were you one of those that went through a 'shotgun wedding'? Did you live happily ever after, or was it a disaster?

No I didnt have to get married, and had a happy 40 year marriage till'death us did part'.But a relative of mine did,they were young and went on to have 4 children quickly ,then she started to mess around with other men while he was at work ,and evetually the marriage broke up

Or what about How did you lose your virginity?, or Did you take drugs? if you really want to get things going. In answer to the thread question, no I didn't have to get married.

No I didnīt have to get married, I had been married for 3 years before I had my son. I did get divorced though and remarried 5 years after my divorce.
