Anyone else remember the twinkle comic ? Wasn't allowed to waste money myself but my friend at church would smuggle the last weeks copy to me under the pew. Now you've got me wondering what happened to her we lost touch when she moved out of the area when we were both 8.

I remember the Wooden Tops, they were ok. Someone not far from us has called their new house Wooden Top! I disliked spangles and HATED dolls.

My first comic was Jack and Jill, when I was very small. My sisters and I had Bunty when we were older. We liked the Beano and Dandy but weren't permitted them. We bought them in town and read them on the bus home and left the comics on the bus.
